No Truck

Well we got to Cullman about midnight and the new truck was there. We climbed up in it and to our dismay it was not a double bunk like we were expecting, so we decided to stay in this one untill a double buck becomes available. For those of you that have never been inside a semi, the bunk is about the size of a twin bed. We sleep at opposite ends so we have more room...well I twitch my feet at night, I always have, I don't know why..I don't even realize that I'm doing it, but It drives Adolph crazy. He never noticed untill we started sleeping like this. So to solve the problem, he may tie my feet together. Just kidding.

We just got word today that our new (to us) truck is ready to be picked up. We are on our way back to Cullman, AL to move everything over to the bigger truck. I will post pictures as soon as I can, but knowing Adolph the way I do, he is going to want to wash it before he will let me take any pictures.

This is what Talladega Super Speedway looks like going down I-20 at 75 mph. Trying to take a good picture from a big truck is like trying to nail jello to the wall...just can't be done. Hey, I tried.

My Honey

Here's Adolph... working hard. He looks like a natural don't he? For those of you who don't know, he was a roofer for 24 years, so this job is like a never ending vacation...kinda. Sometimes we don't get as much sleep as we would like and I get a little home sick after about a week or so, but so far that has been the only down side to this adventure. For the most part, We Love It.

Surprise

We were able to come home for the weekend and go to a surprise birthday party for my Uncle Hubert. He will be 76 on Friday. Needless to say he was very surprised. There was 60 to 75 people there, mostly family. It was nice to get to see everyone again. We also got to go to our church this morning, which was really nice. We haven't been home on a Sunday in about 5 weeks. There were quite a few new faces, which is always nice. We are back on the road again now. We are headed up to Cullman AL, and then over to Monroe, GA. I don't know where from there, but we are suppose to be getting a bigger truck sometime this week and we will have to go to Cullman to do that. I post pictures as soon as we get it.

Ride along

My sister-in-law wanted to go for a ride along. We had to run down to Lakeland and pick up some furniture to take to Cullman AL on Sunday afternoon, so she went with us.
